How many espressos do I get per charge?
It depends mostly on how cold your water is: heating cold water uses the most battery, so starting with hot water gets you more shots per charge. The display shows the battery level, so you're never guessing. It recharges over USB-C, and the cable is in the box. Charge it fully before the first use.
Which capsules does it take?
Three options, with an adapter for each in the box: Nespresso® Original-line compatible capsules (the small classic shape), NESCAFÉ® Dolce Gusto® compatible capsules, or your own ground coffee. It does not take Vertuo capsules.
Does it really heat the water itself?
Yes. Add water, double-click, and it heats the water on its own battery before brewing, with the temperature on the display. Unplug it to brew. Already have hot water? Long-press to skip heating and extract straight away.
How do I clean it?
After each use, take out the adapter, empty the capsule or grounds, and rinse the adapter under warm water. Wipe the main body with a damp cloth. Never put the main body under water: it holds the battery and heater.
Is it loud?
Heating is quiet. You'll hear the pump while it extracts, like any espresso machine.
Can I take it on a plane?
It has a built-in lithium-ion battery, and the FAA recommends keeping devices with lithium batteries in your carry-on rather than checked luggage. Empty the water tank first, and check your airline’s rules before you fly.
How fast will it arrive?
